Well here's another design I have no idea how came into my head, but came it did and here it is - Moulin Rouge becomes Moulin Retro Rave. 1887 to 1987, so sorry all my lovely acid house icons, you were 100 years too late i'm afraid :o) Trevor Fung did the first party back in 1887 though, then was mummified until 1983 - that's how he still looks so damn good for his age!
I know our generation like to think we invented music, sex, party enhancers etc, culture and world peace (that one wasn't as successful).. but the victorians were getting down big style no doubt high on laudanum at raves and some sniff bought over the counter from boots, dancing all night, no doubt having wild times. We also didn't invent hedonism, as Oscar Wilde said at the time.
"Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess." Though I bet he changed his mind after 2 years in jail.
